Merge two COPPCOLORMAPs

Hi,

I currently have my part, which is comprised of two point clouds put together using an equate alignment. I was able to Generate a color map for each, however I can only view them separately. Im wondering if it's possible for me to stitch these colormaps together so I can deliver it as one part.

  • It will give you a split screen of the 2 scans. The top view I scanned while the part was laying flat, the second on its side so I can pick up the original surface to match the top, so I can marry the 2. but I have a great scan of the back side for the second scan you just can't see it, it's not important, Then you pick random points on the top view and try to match the bottom with top, hit compute on the points pair. after that hit compute for the Refine alignment. once your done and your happy, hit ok, now after that click the new cloud button choose the 2 scans to create a third cloud, with this cloud you do the same as above except this time you will be put the CAD and COP3 together, then after that hit your clean cloud button to eliminate some of the noise, then make your colormap
  • I got it working just as you said thanks again
