How would I get the position of a pocket cutout on a part? I have the X start and end points, Y, and Z, but don't really know how I can get the position of that. My first thought was to construct a square slot, but seeing at there's no real "top" to it, I couldn't get it to work.
The pocket is too thin to measure a plane on the X sides, so I went with lines. When I try to construct a 2D line, it gives me the error "IN/OUT does not match vector directions"
You need to set the width type to IN and the vectors of the hits making up the lines need to be opposing. So, assuming your X axis runs from left to right, the hits for your line on the left hand, inside pocket edge needs to be probed with a +X vector and the hits for the line on the right hand, inside pocket edge need to be probed with a -X vector.
