Hello all, so, I have scanned a part and have the pointcloud and all is good. The issue is, the part I'm scanning has a pretty large area of machine damage from a crash that we are trying to evaluate the severity of. If I create a colormap, the damaged area is so far below the CAD model it doesn't seem to like it. I also have minimal filtering of the COP to ensure there is enough point saturation. What can I do to make a visual representation of the COP to show the engineers exactly how bad this damaged area is in relation to the CAD surface?
there are settings to set the maximum scan-to-cad deviation that Pcdmis will look for, also, you may need to increase the tolerance limits as well as the number of colors
