Crosshairs

I am measureing a lot of manual points due to the type and repeatabilty of my part, when I am programing these points the crosshair is nice and big, however, when I execute the program the crosshair reverts back to the very small one. Is there a way to get the large one back during program execution?Confused

  • Can't you just program two vision Auto Line features (Automatic Target if the edge is clear enough, Manual Target if you're struggling to see it), one on each of the edges, and then construct the intersection point?

This way, you don't need that center cross hair or read point.

Re your earlier comment about the Gages in the program, you can currently use the Circle Gage and Line Gage. If you program an Auto Line or Auto Circle vision feature, and select "Manual Gage" (I think it might be called "Manual Adjust" on V4.0) from the "Automatic Target/Manual Target/Manual Gage" pulldown list on the Probe Toolbox "Define hit Targets page".
