Measuring a contour using the profile tool

I have a contour consisting of a table of XY points (100pts) I have to compare to these points. I know I can use the single probe edge tool and drive to these points and get A comparison.

I want to save time can I use the profile tool instead, collect all the points on the contour and only extract the (100pts ) that are in the table.

Or can I make a profile tool using the table of points and capture the data in groups relative to the size of my field of view, therefore minimizing
the need to move to all 100 pts individually as in the case of using the edge tool.

If you measure all the profile, you will have to write some undred of thousands coordinates, and then search for 100... Maybe your second solution is better, but you will have to programm all the points one by one if the profile is not regular enough (light, size...). Try to do it in a loop (read coordinates, auto measure edge in the field, write results).
