Are you scanning a profile or , just a line or arc etc? if you are going for speed and not ultimate accuracy you can reduce the point density or the percentage of scan
you also need to check focus setting,, if you are set to auto focus and you have hit targets enabled the machine will try to focus every time you reach a new hit target area
or as it senses a need,
Very sensative, and tempermental, I find scanning profiles that you cant get a good edge to show up on , such as top light or ring light situations to be quite problematic as well,
The machine is great for what it is good at measuring ,, and I use the tac probe alot to supplement the camera
