I have a few questions about visions systems. It seems they work real well on flat parts, hole patterns and such but for the more complicated parts with internal ports...not so much. Appears you have to flip the part around several times to view everything and then reconstruct alignments...that is if you can even get to the Datums in the next position. I'm not to sure about this wave of the future. How is that any faster than probe changes? How is your vision system better?

We now have 16 Vision CMM's and our smallest tolerance is 10um which to be fair can be a real pain but they will do as much as a touch trigger machine.
