Paste with Pattern _Revisited

Having searched the threads and forums, I found information from 2007 on pasting with patterns, I am wondering if there is anyone with new info on this.

here is my issue,

I am working on creating diminishing / or increasing concentric circles (vision Probe Optiv 3 cad version 2011) to create 200 or so surface points on a 3" diameter plate (hockey puck). Currently I am winding up with the points either performing exactly as I want or drifting off the grid, as you say It works best if I create multiple alignments, has anyone found a fix for that?

This was the most relevant response back in the day...."Originally Posted by Matthew D. Hoedeman

Any updates??
