2016 32 bits doesn't work with HexMSI.dll

I just installed the 2016 version with vision options in the licensing.
PC-DMIS crashes just after asking which probe is installed.
I changed the "actual" interfac.dll by the leitz.dll and it works, but without vision...
I think HexMSI.dll is wrong...
Am I alone with this problem ?

I didn't run into any HexMSI.dll errors in testing 2016 on our Optiv. I am not sure what vision system you are running.

When I get to the CMM, I'll test this.

Hi Jefman, If you have the Leitz.dll, I assume you are running with the CMMV.
Are you saying with Leitz.dll renamed interfachelper.dll, HEXMSI.dll renamed Interfac.dll & HSI_CMMV.dll renamed HSI.dll you are seeing a crash in Pcdmis 2016?

I will ask for this to be tested on one our our systems and will let you know

I just installed PC-DMIS as usual.
I have a CMMV_E.
PC-DMIS crashed, so I renamed only leitz.dll as interfac.dll, just to see what's happening in this case.
I saw that the hexmsi.dll has the same size than interfac.dll before changing.
I didn't change anything else...

I tried those changes, because I remember that before 2014.1, I was unable to use rotary and vision together, so I changed "vision" dll by leitz.dll when I wanted to use the rotary, and let vision dll to use the cmmv_e.
Since 2014.1, rotary and cmmv_e work together, and it's a very nice enhancement !!!!!

Checked this morning :
leitz.dll = interfachelper.dll = 937 kb
hexmsi.dll = interfac.dll = 945 kb
HSI_CMMV.dll = HSI.DLL = 165 kb

Yes, with this config, PC-DMIS crashes.
I'm now with leitz.dll as interfac.dll and it works, without vision...

Hi Jefman, sorry for the delay in replying, only just picked up your message. Recently a report has been filed with CMMV and 32 bit Pcdmis and a crash. I will schedule this to be investigated and keep you informed as to our progress.
I it possible for you to try Pcdmis x64? This will depend on what framegrabber you have. Matrox is only supported with x86

Just installed 2016.0 SP1...
Nothing new about using a cmmv with this version, opening PC-DMIS goes directly on the Windows screen...

Make sure the x64 drivers for the Falcon card is installed. Also, make sure your computers BIOS is up to date.

I'm on x86 only... But I will try to update the bios, didn't think about it !!!!!
