Optiv Not Working

Good Morning,

I had these 3 errors pop up last night as the Optiv was running parts. PC-Dmis will not open any programs. In order:

1. Unable to load wai_framegrabber.dll due to missing dependent dlls. Please check to see if frame grabber device drivers are installed correctly.
2. Cannot initialize the machine, reset the controller and try again.
3. Interface HSI.dll library load failure

I don't know how to troubleshoot this.

  • Ok, found the solution. There is a cable that has the same connections of a network cable that connects the PC to the Optiv. The little clip on the end of the connection was broken and is always down and if you were removing the cable from the PC. So since the clip is always depressed, the cable slips out causing these errors.

    I pushed the cable back in and a little green light came on. I just need to get with the our sales guy to replace the cable.
