Text files

Why does PC-DMIS vision save a lot of text files during execution of programs?
Is there a way to turn this off, I just finished deleting about 2000 from my drive.Confused
  • Where are they being saved? I can then check to see if my system does the same thing. Is it a debug text file?
  • They are being saved in whatever directory the program resides. Debug is not activated.
    V2014.1
  • Looking at the file it's a focus debug, but I can't find anywhere to turn it off. Regular debug is turned off.
  • Check the F5 settings, I think there is something in there relating to vision and files saving (debug/trace stuff).
  • Do you have vision diagnostics toggled ON?
  • This is the one ^^

I thought this was available in the F5 settings (the checkboxlist of options).

So there's a file like this for each surface point in a program and it updates on each execution, so it repeats what's above over and over.
