    I know a little bit from programming/running our Micro-Vu for almost ten years.

    How good does it perform to others like ogp and mituitoyo....?

    Can't comment on performance; only seen a mit once and only saw the OGP @ a demo ten years ago. Can't remember much other than it was smaller and more expensive.
    The Micro-Vu is, IMO, very easy to program. You can import .DXF files and convert to inspec programs easily. Software upgrades are free. Service and support, when needed, are exceptional. I think, as mentioned earlier, a vision machine is not for everything/everyone(thats a whole 'nuther discussion). We also have an IMS Impact CMM.
