Please help. How can I password protect either the programs or the PCDMIS Online. I know the PCDMIS Operator restricts editing. However there's nothing to keep the operator or anyone for that matter from opening the Online option to edit. I have version 4.1.
Yeah, but depending how many seats your talking, you can only do certain things in STI from 1 computer(Station), The rest of the set up has to be done from the station your using the programs. There isn't an option to copy to the other stations. Depending on how many stations you have, It could take a long time to incorporate STI. We used it for a minute, but it was too time consuming. We have over 2500 jobs being inspected, on at least 10 machines through out the plant. We ended up going to 2010 which has some good qualities, but we also kept 3.7 for things that worked better in that software. Only the programmers use the 3.7 though.
