I'll start by tell you guys what I am wanting:
I'd like to run a program and have it ask for several bits of info at the start (part name, dwg number, charge number,...) and place these into the header of the report. Then if the user redraws the report part way through the run (not running DCC) I want that information to stay there (we do many one off parts and are not a production facility, hence the need to redraw the report sometimes).
I have only been trying to create this for a day, but I feel like I am running circles. I used the textonly.rpt that is default and switched the header (.lbl) to one I made, then used text objects to prompt the user when the program is executed, it works, but if I redraw the report it all goes away...so I am guessing there is a better way.
