Changing Colors on Reports

Hey all,
I am not sure if this is the correct place or not. If it is not just let me know and I will remove it.

Does anyone know how to change that light blue background color from report labels? The reports print really slowly and use a ton of ink this way. I like the report style; I just need to get rid of that background. Can anyone tell me how please?

We are using PC-DMIS 2013 SP2.

You'll have to do this through the FORM EDITOR. The help file is pretty good on this, I suggest reading through it. To get started:

Got to FILE > REPORTING > EDIT > and then pick what you want to edit (the report template here, I assume), select the template and the FORM EDITOR will come up. Right click somewhere on the report to bring up the options at the right-hand side of the screen. Select REPORT from the dropdown menu, then where it says "colors" right click on that and say yes to "Do you want to set up a color scheme independent...", which will bring up a dialogue where you can change colors.

I am typing this from memory because my CMM is running a program, but I think that is correct. Let us know if you run into any more trouble or if that worked for you or what.

Or you could remove the check mark in front of "Print background color" in the Print Setup dialog, just above the "Print in Black&White".

Hello,
Our engineer is requesting to simplify our report to three different colors Instead of 5. We recently have green, purple, gray, yellow and red. He simply wants green, yello, and red.

EDIT-GRAPHIC DISPLAY WINDOW-DIMESNION COLORS In that dialog box change the amount of tolerance zones too 3 and edit the colors accordingly to what your engineer asked for. HTH

sorry I read that wrong youll just want to show 1 tolerance zone set that color to green it will always show + - red and yellow. HTH again

Green is in.

Yellow is alert? Huh? A little high or low on the oot side? A little high or low on the in-tolerance side?

I use 4 colors on my reports:

Dark Green (0-50% of tolerance used)
Light Green (50-75% of tolerance used)
Yellow (75-100% tolerance used)
Red (100%+ tolerance used)
