How to avoid eyestrain on CAD colors

All,

A new customer project presented me with CAD graphics that were a silver / white that started to drive me crazy (I know other than the Demon) and so after playing around with color settings for a while to no avail I found a setting that I now just LOVE above all else (not beer or motorcycles though!)Stuck out tongue closed eyes

Go into:

EDIT --> Graphic Display Window --> CAD Assembly Then from here select the CAD features (part, fixture, etc.) to adjust, and then check the transparency box and play with adjusting the percentage! (for this project I adjusted the transparency to 68%)

I've now ensured I can be staring at the monitor for another 20 years as a slave to the Demon!!!

    NinjaBadger and Moolvie,

Here is a picture so you can see what I'm referring to. The white of the CAD model is irritating to the eyesNauseated face after working with for more than a few minutes and I found changing the transparency (which you can easily change back, or adjust) was much easier on the eyes and easier (for me) than changing the CAD color as referred to by Mr. Hoedeman.

    Hope this helps.
