How to avoid eyestrain on CAD colors

All,

A new customer project presented me with CAD graphics that were a silver / white that started to drive me crazy (I know other than the Demon) and so after playing around with color settings for a while to no avail I found a setting that I now just LOVE above all else (not beer or motorcycles though!)

Go into:

EDIT --> Graphic Display Window --> CAD Assembly Then from here select the CAD features (part, fixture, etc.) to adjust, and then check the transparency box and play with adjusting the percentage! (for this project I adjusted the transparency to 68%)

I've now ensured I can be staring at the monitor for another 20 years as a slave to the Demon!!!

Cool, I've tried transparency and find it off-putting, but I guess that's just personal preference.

I usually have my parts as a silvery grey (to look like metal) but switch on surface edges to add definition.

I figured it out, NinjaBadger. Just had to poke around the menus a bit more.
