Prob file, Prob.Dat file

I'm attempting to transfer all settings including Prob information to a new computer. However I've already transferred the Prob.dat file to the correct location, and I have done the setting backup process to no results.

I have a 3mm prob and a 6mm prob that needs to come over, and I'd rather not redo all the work that it takes to recreate them from scratch.

I've searched via those tilted phrases above, with nothing pointing to something new to try. Please advise.

  • Normally your probe definitions are stored in xxx.PRB files, where "xxx" is the name you've given to the probe file. The folder for storing probe files is configured under Edit -> Preferences -> Set search path...
