Ok, I will try to elaborate a little. What I mean by it, is that users of the Q-DAS need training and time to learn, so they understand how the software works. Without it (and without safety precautions done in configuration of the Q-DAS system), users can put the data in harm’s way.
Example:
O-QIS MCA/CMM Reporting is using so called buffer database for its standard usage. This buffer database is usually limited in size. The old values are constantly deleted because they are not needed in case of O-QIS. Old values have no meaning in O-QIS. So, for example only last 50 values are saved in the buffer database per test plan.
Now imagine, somebody connect the central data database as a buffer in O-QIS. It will eventually end up in data loss.
Train the users. Make safety precautions. Live stress-free life.
