When I run my part through, normally, it sends the stats to Datapage at the end of the program. Now, I'm getting an error message: "Cant open dbd File - Error 5". HELP!
One thing about the ~ is that if you have 5 directories (not folders, I am DOS-MAN!) that all start with the same 6 characters, they will 'look' the same in a DOS window with the EXCEPTION that the last character will be a number. Sample Directories: ABCDEFGHIJKLMM ABCDEFGHIJKLMN ABCDEFGHIJKLMO ABCDEFGHIJKLMP ABCDEFGHIJKLMQ they will look like this in DOS ABCDEF~1 ABCDEF~2 ABCDEF~3 ABCDEF~4 ABCDEF~5 So, which IS which and are you sure??????
You will need to remember the order in which you have created them. MS tags them with the ~ in that order.
YEP, I left that out, my bad, BUT, that is the biggest reason it is hard to tell which is which with the ~ and dos. You can get a 'verbose' directory list that shows the 'real' name as well as the DOS truncated name which helps.
Just to give y'all an update, all it ended up being was I didn't have administrative privileges, magically, to use Datapage. From the time I went on vacation last Wednesday to when I came back Monday, that got changed (and not by the IT guy either).
cntrl + alt + del...see which programs are running...IT may have something running that limits your access to files as the operator....our guy here had something set-up where everything was read only..you couldn't even right-click anything..no drag-n-drop...nothing...
PCDMIS ver 4.1 Release, DEA Beta 25.20.12 Getting error message after mis-hit with probe, After I rebooted once and reset the PH10M, I can't re-home the CMM I am getting error message (level2: TF deflected during TFON joystick input (0x20) Please RESET EMERGENCY.) I rebooted pc and CMM, reset the PH10M again, is reading tip, but when I restart controller and open PCDMIS, I still can't home the machine, after the CMM initializes, and the press start to home message comes up I click on it then the emregency level2 message pops up? It won't let me reset? Is there a way I can reset? tried rebooting 5 times already and hit the emergency stop buttons on the control box & the joystick, reset and still same prob. Help!
