Has anyone moved over to Datapage+ for reporting?

I don't know if Im missing something, but the layout is beyond confusing, Im still not sure I have the database setup correctly, it is dog slow when I have a part model on the screen, & I still have not figured out how to tell PCDMIS how to access the database. Im trying to make Dataview style reports out of it, but Im finding it next to impossible to do. Why they did away with the File...Edit...View...toolbar at the top, I dont know.

  • I would suggest that you hold off on the use of DATAPAGE+ for a while. They have some significant issues that need to be addressed. I signed up for the DATAPAGE+ class, took it, and ended up very dissatisfied. They will be revamping the present course and some software issues soon. The DATAPAGE+ software programmer visited my facility and is working on upgrades and fixes as we speak.

If you are using DATAPAGE+ due to the fact that you are running Windows 7 on you pc then best of luck.

DATAPAGE R/T 3.33, the predecessor to DATAPAGE+, does not work with Windows 7 as DATAPAGE R/T is a 32 bit software and the DATAPAGE EDITOR is a 16 bit technology that will not work with 64 bit Windows 7.

I do not know if DATAPAGE R/T 3.33 will work using Windows 7 32 bit version.

that is good news, this software should not be released as is.
