Pcdmis - data transfer into spc light

HELP
Anybody know why it takes so long to transfer data at the end of the program into SPC Light.I'm running a short program with only four results being transfered to the spc program.But having to wait after each cycle / sample for over a 90 seconds before being able to re-run the program.

yes - light house has replaced the installed version of DPUPDATE.EXE with their own. Pcdmis just calls that routine to update the database - however, light house does not actually stop that program from running once it is complete. Pcdmis waits until a timeout period (internal to pcdmis) happens before moving on. You can download/install ( ftp://ftp.wilcoxassoc.com/Utilities/DPUpdate/FakeDPUpdate.zip) and follow the directions. Its a hack but LH never corrected their issue.
