Statistics Report

We have recently done a new install of PCDMIS and Datapage on some of our CMM terminals (upgrading to Windows 7), and for some reason, the number of "samples" that are required to create a statistics report has changed. Previously, it required only 3 parts, to create a high, low, and mean stats report. Now, it will not create a statistics report for anything less than 10 parts.

Anyone know where you would go to change this, or how to go about doing it? Any help is appreciated.

  • Any idea what needs to be changed in Capability Threshold? I don't see anything that seems to indicate the number of samples required. There's Cpk Threshold (set at 1.333 and 4 Sigma is checked?), Ppk Threshold (Also set at 1.333 and 4 Sigma checked again) Calculate Capability when out of control (Unchecked), Calculate Cp/Pp for unilateral tolerance (Unchecked), and a choice between "Use estimated std. dev. for Cp, Cpk etc. Use sample std. dev. for Pp, Ppk, etc." and "Use Sample std. dev. for Cp, Cpk, etc. Don't calculate Pp, Ppk, etc." (the first one is checked).

Subgroup Parameters is set at 3 for Subgroup Size (which seems right), 3 for Min Subgroups (again, sounds right), and Max Subgroups is set at 200 (I have no idea if that has any bearing on it at all)
