DataView and Charts Issue

The issue I seem to be having is when I'm making reports with charts in them, and have less than 5 transactions I get an error saying, "No Valid Data Was Processed!" Lately I've been doing 3 piece studies and have to send each one twice and turn it into 6 transactions. Is there a way or a setting so I can just show 3 points on my charts? I am using DataView for Windows Version 3.22

What type of Charts are you trying to generate?

Not sure about DV but check:
Min number of subgroups
Subgroup size
My guess is the default setting is more than what you were giving it.

I am trying to make Run charts. I have set the subgroup to all sort of different numbers 2-10, just to see if any work. still resive same error.

Set the sub size to 1 if it will let you, DP lets you use 1. You need a minimum of 3 "samples" to make Pp/Ppk~Cp/Cpk, and if you only have 3 parts and ANYTHING but a subgroup size of 1, you can not get the data to calculate. If you have 5 parts and a sub-group size of 2, then it will only see "2" samples to do the calculations since you do not have 3 full sub-groups and it will not calculate.

Okay I can only set the sub size to 1 if I change the SPC Calc Basis to XMR. It will not work with Xbar&R. I don't think this will an issue for my reports and I don't think our customer will care. Thank you all so much for your help!
