I just installed DataPage++ 2012 running PC-DMIS version 2012. I am trying to extract a spreadsheet report and save it to Excel. I click on the tab "To Excel" browse my path to where i want to save it, and then click OK. The Spreadsheet saves to Excel, but I keep recieving an Error message. "Wrong Double Data Format CG=INF", and "Wrong Double Data Format CGk=INF"? Can anyone tell me what this means and how to stop this Error message from poping up? Thank you!
The 'INF' is short for infinity. Internally, some calculation results in an infinite value (i.e. INF = number / 0).
In this case I assume you are asking for a report that includes some statistical values (Cp, Cpk, etc) and you don't have enough measurements, variation, or some other requirement. Check your subgroup parameters and make sure you have enough measurements.
Other than this I can't suggest anything. When I run into this error it is a case of trial and error to figure out the source.
Rondog is correct here. This is related to an infinite number being generated for some of your values. I believe it can stem from not having proper values set for them somewhere but I don't remember how to get to that window.
