Good morning,
I am looking to talk to anyone who uses Datapage+ 2012 as the software to generate reports from not only Pcdmis but from other imported files, i.e. a .csv and a .xlsx format. We are setting up a file on the network that will automatically receive data from (3) CMM's running Pcdmis 2012 using DataPage+ 2012, (2) machines generating data in a cvs format and (1) generating data in an xlsx format.
An offline seat of Datapage+ 2012 will be used to retrieve this data to generate the reports, graphs, etc..
Why not just output all your data in .csv format.
Its easy from pcdmis (there are hundreds of posts on this subject) and the .xlsx file can be converted automatically if your IT weenies can be persuaded to do it.
You don't need online seats of datapage+ and you can dump all the data into a common folder.
then use datapage or any other stats package to analyse the data.
We have PC-Dmis sending data as an xml file (DP+ format), we also have data from Tesascan machines in .csv.
These files are sent to a folder on the server, we then have one dataimporter running bringing in all these files.
When you import the .csv files, you have to customize the import of the first file to 'map' the fields so that DP+ can
understand the format.
