Everytime I test my Datapage+ 2013 connection to my Excel Spreadsheet PC DMIS 2103 crashes. I am on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with 32-bit office. I tried setting my ODBC connections inside the %system%/Syswow/ folder as well. I even went so far as to redirect the control panel settings to the %system%/SYSWOW/ folder. Still PC-DMIS crashes every time I test the connection.
Okay could it be crashing because its not available in 2013 yet but the options are there? if so how do I install a working DP+?
RonDog -- Yes it crashes when I try to test the database in PC-DMIS. Reason I am trying to use the ODBC connector for 32-bit programs is the Microsoft office install is 32-bit. Unless its been fixed you have to setup the connector in the %system32%/SYSWOW folder. How excel fits is that's the format my users want the data to be compiled in(excel). My level of knowledge here is limited as I am the IT person trying to help our Quality department on this project. Are there any kind of training materials on the subject I can read?
