Getting this after my file _1_1_1_1_1


I still have a problem with this adding _1_1_1 after my file . is there a way to stop this ?

  • This is my file being sent from pcdmis to datapage . It seems to send the file correctly then copies it with the one behind it .


    It looks like to me that you changed the naming convention in datapage settings and are not specifying a unique name. For example, if I changed the file name to be just PCDMISStats%.XML Windows has no way to tell the difference between files so when it gets handled it will automatically add a _1 to the end of the file name. So as time goes on every time you send a file it has to add another _1 to the end of the file. After 100 stats transfers you have a file with 100 _1 at the end of the file name.
    Windows can only handle file names of a certain size and at some point you will get an error handling the files.

    Now if your file name was PCDMISStats%DateTime%.XML this will produce a unique name every time and your problem is solved.

    Go to the start menu, Datapage+, Tools, settings for Datapage Stats, and report back what your file name says.
