Has anyone been able to overcome this issue with Datapage+ 5.0. I find I have to restart Datapage constantly due to memory issues. It quickly becomes bogged down and throws errors trying to generate reports. The worst is when I start to create a new report, get to the last page and try and save it and get an error "cannot access disposed object". Then I have to restart from the beginning. It's not an issue with my pc as far as I can tell but maybe I am missing something.
Do you have the thumbnail pics in DP? If so, that eats up a lot of memory. Remove all pics from DP if you have any. I used to have trouble with DP, then found out the root cause. Since removal, DP has been fine. Hope this helps you.
What did you replace the pics with? Can't seem to find the gear thumbnail. I am having the same memory problems, and it is killing us. Takes over an hour for a 63 page report.
I restart DP+ 2011 MR1 after every single report that I generate. I have no thumbnail pics, and noticed this issue within, quite literally, the first dozen report I ever generated.
For me, it seems to be linked to printing. We print into a PDF format, which may or may not be the issue. But a quick program close/open isn't that much hassle.
