Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to failure

Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to failure in starting the process for the user instance

I got this error after having an issue with DP+ opening under a particular username. I figured out a fix before Hexagon could get back to me. What I did was shutdown the PC, logged into a different username and thenwas able to log into DP+ and also ensure that the Data Importer was talking to DP+. Once everything looked to be working correctly I logged back into the username that was throwing the error and all worked as it should.

Sounds like a Windoze error. Windows didn't start the SQL Server process, for whatever reason. Thanks for sharing that there is a simple fix.
