Best guess, your report refers to a "length" dimension that doesn't exist in the database. "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" means what ever your trying to target with a command does not exist.
Edit: They could have messed up a header or a report template that caused this.

Yes, if you're using custom templates then you should have no issues as long as they are the same version. If you're using the default templates there is usually a second folder inside the primary one with a backup of the files (I know there is a second location with all the same files but it varies a bit in different versions where it is.)
The problem only happens with one windows user, if I or some other user logs into Windows, DP+ runs without the error. Is there a file created by DP+ that needs to be removed from that user profile?
