Access error

Good Morning all
I came in to found a note from the night shift guy that he could access datapage.

So I opened up datapage and when I hit the dat report icon or any other for that matter I get this error message

"Unable to access database for read operation"

Anyone see this before or know what I have to do to access the database. I did try to reboot already but no help.

  • Not sure but I will check it out. I do have one question our network is lagging big time today, though I would not think so does that have anything to do with it. I would ask IT but we do not have any, and I know how you despise them :-D

    Well, open DPEditor, go to DATABASE / OPEN and check the path, make SURE that it matches EXACTLY where the database files are then look at the TIMEOUTS, you could try increasing them, my defaults are READ = 10 and WRITE = 20 with 64 papges of Memory.
