Copy into part database from another

I have a Part Number Database that as I change revisions there is another part number created. So I will have xxx_A, xxx_B etc..., What I would like to do is to copy the data from the revision A into the revision B, as nothing that affects my dimensioning has changed ( paint updated ), they want 100 pieces checked, I have approx. fifty in each folder and would like to have them all together in one so that 1 statisticle sheet can be ran. Any suggestions on how I can do this?

Thanks in advance.

  • Do I do this from datapage or from the DP Editor - or doesn't it matter?

I also will re-write this a little better- I created a part number in DP Editor X0X0X0.
Inside of my PCDMIS program, I change the name of my program, I'm going to call it my header because I really don't know what it is called. It original names it xxx_A when I created the program. I then ran the program for 50 partts, We then had the revision change, I renamed the header to xxx.b, IT SAVES THE RESULTS TO MY DATABASE UNDER THE PART NUMBER X0X0X0. Hope that clears it up a little better.
