Datapage Chart Question

Is it possible for me to set up the Multi Variable Run Chart to show Zero? Is it possible for me to manipulate what information is shown on the Multi Variable Run Chart in any way?

Also, can I edit an existing database such that I can seperate it into several smaller databases? I have a single database for all my parts and I would like to have it so the individual parts are separated into seperate dabases for each of the companies I'm making them for.

Thanks, Rob
  • I can answer the second part at this time, the first part will have to wait until Ican look at DATAPAGE.

What you need to do for the second portion of your question is create a new DATABASE for each customer. I generally do this by first going through EXPLORER and creating folders for each customer (inside a DATAPAGE folder).

Then copy the database file from your original folder and paste it into each one of your new folders. Yes, you will have a lot of data in each one but this is the only way that i know of to maintain your current information and make a new, customer based, folder.

Now, in each new DATABASE, go through the EDITOR and delete the unneeded part and transactions.

If it gets messed up you still have the original folder so don't freak out.

By the way, back up that original folder to someplace before doing this, just in case.
  • You can use data view to create run charts then you can create macros for Specific information. JC

If you want to stick with data page you can go to options/ report display options and set what statictics you want per charting system. JC
