The VDA5 tab contains all the elements required to start a VDA5. A new VDA5 study can be started directly from here:
In the dialogue that appears, the various VDA5 models can be chosen, information on the use of the MPE, how many standards, or the influencing components that are to be active can be defined in a self-defined process:
After confirming, the empty budget is created directly:
NOTE:
If the budget and the masks shown later do not look like this, the update from version 12/13 to the current version with the import of budgets and the mask files / report templates has not been done! There is a separate manual for this (Manual adjustments after the update to V14 for working with VDA5 in the third edition):

The detailed work then begins on the masks:
Characteristics mask: Basic information on the reference, MPE, Linearity, and the like:
The number of standards and repeat measurements are defined or adjusted again in the characteristics mask for the measurement system. Type-1 Study can also be imported directly.
The test plan can be defined in the characteristics mask for the measurement system, or a Type-2 Study can be imported:
After the basic definitions (or the import), the detailed configuration and further data input can then be carried out in the budget from top to bottom. Each screen is defined specifically for the influencing variable concerned:
To give an example: on the bias screen, you can specify the type from which the components are to be estimated. Type A would be from the measured values, type B would be information that appears on the screen after the selection.
