The ribbon bar is the basic tool for working with the Q-DAS product. It consists mainly of tabs that display commands, options and functions in groups. The tabs are displayed at the top, the groups at the bottom, and the individual commands in between. The ribbon bar is dynamic, meaning that the components available depend on the product, user group, and context. The default ribbon does not include all commands. Some of the commands have become redundant due to customer requests and restructuring of various versions. The configuration can be customised via <File> | <Configurations> | <Ribbon>.
