Basically, the "Graphical settings" tab provides all the options for modifying the graphics, in colour / font or content. But over the years, as more and more graphics were added, it became very tedious to change each and every one of them. For this reason, options have been created such as the styles, which allow the basic graphic settings (colour / background / font / line view / ...) to be specified as a global setting.
Furthermore, it is possible to filter the graphics and to change the output points (keyword: change mode), which are also used for many table graphics. For this reason, these global settings have been described in advance, even though they are not carried out on this tab itself, but serve as a basis for a simple configuration of all graphics. This has allowed us to keep the documentation for the other options on this tab clear.
Excluded from the description here are the special graphic settings, which only apply to the respective graphic itself. The corresponding tab always has the name of the active graphic. This is explained in the documentation of the respective graphic itself.
Default Style
As preparatory documentation, the use of the styles is described here. If these are set globally, individual graphic settings for the layout are no longer necessary. |

Quick filtering in summary graphics
The filtering of summary graphics is often a daily task for the users of the software. In order to avoid having to set or change the filter conditions again and again in all summary graphics, the "Quick filtering in summary graphics" provides a tool to specify this centrally and to trigger the filtering with a single click.

Filter and sort
Whether filter or sort options are used individually per graphic or in the "quick filtering in overview graphics": due to the complexity of the topic, this has been moved to a separate FAQ.

Graphical settings
This is the actual FAQ for this tab, in which the basic handling of the individual tabs is explained. The topics of style changes and filtering are directly excluded here. The tab that shows the individual configuration of each graphic is also not explained here. This can be found later in the documentation of the respective graphic itself.

Alternative output points
Sometimes output points in list graphs / overview graphs are not available for certain feature types, or have no meaningfulness. In many tabular graphics, alternative output points can therefore be created based on a filter.

Output form bar chart
The output points for the value fields can also be configured to display the measured values as bars. The appearance and colour of a bar indicates the status of a measured value. A separate topic describes the possible contents and colours of the bars and explains what they mean. Link to: Output Form - Bar Contents |
