The error indicates that the probe came in contact with the part just prior to it's 'probing window'. There could be many causes, from the feature being measured being out of location by more than the probe offset, to a programming error. One way to assist troubleshooting is to increase the probe offset. The command DFNCMM can be used to increase the probe offset.
At the same time, I must ask have you been to Quindos/CMM training ?
I would recommend a training class, as Quindos is drastically different than the other softwares, as well as the PMMc which is different than the other CMM you list.
