Our Global Image CMM running Q6 to inspect blades has gone down.
The machine seems to lose itself when going around a sharp corner, no matter what the scan speed, and has to "hop" to try to make contact with the part again. Even on lowest speeds, it jumps away from the part when it hits a sharp transition.
This occurs on ALL of our previously functioning blade programs. IT came down and gave us a new user profile, new network connection, new file locations, etc, right before this started happening. So something they did is most likely the cause, but our Quindos guy can't figure it out.
To make things even more foggy, we have a Brown & Sharpe Chameleon with the same switches made to file locations, new user profile, etc, that did not go down.
Possibly controller issues? Anyone have any ideas?
