Scan Offset Force LSP-S2

All, I currently run PC-DMIS and have the ability to control my scan offset force. I was told by a Quindos user with the same head that they cannot change that value. I do believe you can, if so, how do I tell them to change it?
Thanks!!

  • you did not elaborate as to what controller you have on your Leitz PMMC. if you have a B4 or B5 controller, you can only change probe parameters (upper force, lower force, trigger force, scan force) by activating one of the parameter sets of the INIFILE in the controller. PC-DMIS may appear to give you the 'control' but the controller will ignore the value(s) sent by the host software (PC-DMIS or Quindos). In Quindos7 you can use the command UseContrlrParSet to activate one of the INIFILE parameter sets.
