Calculate flatness in a plane with diferent height

Hello all,

I have to calculate a flatness with 2 diferent heights (see image).
I've already probed the 2 planes.
How can this be done in QUINDOS?
Thanks in advance

  • Sorry but I'm not able to clearly make out any of the details in your screenshots so I'll have to give a more general explanation.

We do not yet fully support the CZ modifier. As I mentioned in my previous comment, when CZ is applied to flatness of multiple surfaces that are not co-planar, it is functionally the same as profile of a surface because it maintains the relationship between the features (orientation and location) as well as controlling the form - the planes are treated as a pattern. In terms of step-by-step instructions - measure each surface as a separate plane then insert a geometric tolerance command. Select all of your planes from the feature list then select profile of a surface and enter your tolerance. You will not see a CZ modifier in the dialog or on the report but it is applied in the background. Whenever multiple features are selected for profile or position, the geometric tolerance command treats them as a pattern and invokes the CZ modifier in the background. This is currently the only implementation of CZ that we support (there are many more along with SZ - separate zone). We do plan on fully supporting CZ and SZ in a future release but there is no targeted version as of yet.
