Can Quindos intersect a nominal line with a measured curve? For instance, let's say I have a curve in the YZ plane at the X value of 0.0 mm. Then I construct a nominal line with the X axis value of 0.0 mm, a Y value of 12 mm, a Z value of 8MM, and the line parallel to the X axis with no deviation in Y or Z. (This is assuming that the curve is compensated normal to the surface and instead of center of ball).
The curve & the line will intersect. If the 45 degree line is the 2D curve and the other line is an axis, then you need INAXI2DE. The intersection point is based on the radius corrected curve, not on the ball centre data. Hope this helps.
