ProPlanAI currently supports 2.5 axis milling operations on all types of machining centers supported by ESPRIT EDGE. Support for turning operations is currently in beta.
ProPlanAI uses machine learning to determine the best process to apply to a feature. The Knowledgebase Manager (KBM) and Strategy Manager rely on user-written rules to determine the best process to apply.
ProPlanAI doesn’t require any direction from the user. The user simply provides previously programmed ESPRIT EDGE files, and ProPlanAI automatically learns from the data provided and continues to learn as it receives new information. This means that the user does not have to spend time writing and updating hundreds of rules.
