Problem
When the user defines spherical field points to compute the Sound Pressure Level (SPL) and later wants to evaluate the experimental radiated power, they experiencing there is currently no direct method available in PLTViewer to perform this calculation.
Solution
The experimental radiated power datablock in Actran allows to output an approximation of the radiated power from discrete sets of FIELD_POINT.
- Set ISO-3744 power level in PLTViewer
- Set the PLTViewer Y Data Vector to ISO-3744 power level and read the Mic points result.
- Actran internally determine the sound power levels and sound energy levels of noise sources using sound pressure - Engineering methods for an essentially free field over a reflecting plane.
- Set the PLTViewer Y Data Vector to ISO-3744 power level and read the Mic points result.
