I have an old (~2009, ADAMS 2007 r1) A/Car full vehicle model I'm attempting to resurrect. This is a full tractor-trailer model with PAC2002 tires and flex bodies operating on the MDI_2d_Flat road. I'm opening this up in ADAMS 2017.1 and trying to run some of my old file driven events. The run stops when I appear to run our of tokens (???). So did the required number of tokens change (go up!) since I've been running these models?
Well I guess you'll hear the same answer as if you'd ask Fiat, Renault, Hyundai or others if they use defeat devices. They all claim they'd stay within legal limits, but funnily have much higher emisions than domestic brands in real-life-tests.
Anyway the MSC master Key tokens sucked from the beginning and are outdated, too.
MSC One is the new kid in town.
If you have a larger amount of users you can still negotiate with MSC not on a "we need xxx tokens" base but on "we'd like to pay yyy $ for xxx users".
In the latter case you just track the number of users and the costs for MSC licenses which pretty quickly reveals any cheating.
The bad news: Yes, the licenses became more expensive over the years.
