Type of analysis

In new adm740 course notes (2016) and elearning portal is written this definition:

You can place both a joint and a bushing as the same connection in a model. The joint will be used for kinematic analyses, and the bushing will be used for dynamic analyses: Adams/Car will automatically enable/disable based on the type of analysis.

In older version adm740 2013 it was:

You can place both joints and bushings at the same part connections in a model. You can switch between the two attachments, activating one while deactivating the other. Thus, you can simulate kinematic and compliant analyses with the same model. You can also mix your model, using both joints and bushings for the same analysis.

So is dynamic==compliant? My personal oppinion is no and older definition was better.
