I have excitements from a real four-post rig and I want to use them to excite my model in ADAMS four-post rig and perform PSD analyses. However, I couldn't find any example or clear description niether in the web nor in ADAMS related communities (or I might missed them in those big databases). I would appreciate if anyone here can provide links or share experiences on how to get started with that.
The process which I did until now:
Creating an ASCII file from the measurements (*.MAT) and import them as Spline. Reading out the Spline as my actuator input in the Vibration analyses. This gives me constant error message about the Spline!
Use Ride->Full-Vehicle Analysis->Four-Post Test Rig, set the Actuator Type to displacement, and Input Source to "arbitrary solver functions." Then it's up to you to write the functions for each wheel displacement. You'll probably want something like "AKISPL(time, 0, wheel_disp_spline)." Read the Solver documentation for AKISPL to see if it will meet your needs. You should also read the Adams Car-Ride documentation on the ISO Ride Index.
