I was trying to do an Baja ATV full vehicle assembly analysis in Adams Car, but i get problems while trying to do the analysis as shown in the image. Even though the tire template was a default tire model that was given in acar shared template and other than, the rear suspension was working fine in individual suspension assembly, But while trying full vehicle assembly there was alot of problems arise, even the translation of shaft in tripot joint is been shown as an error in it, but it was not shown as a problem in suspension assembly analysis. Please verify and help me to do complete the analysis. I attached the required files below.
Can you run a "Straight line Maintain" simulation at say 10 km/h? This will tell you if you have the correct preload in springs and that the model is in general sound.
Then go on to a slow acceleration to see your shift points and make sure that the driveline works as expected.
Do a brake analysis.
When all of this works, start with cornering events. Always start with open loop maneuvers. Ramp steer first, then step steer.
When you are happy with all of that, then you can go on to closed loop steering such as CRC.
But use more realistic parameters. 2m radius starting at 10 km/h and ending at 54 mph? If you can turn that tight, which you probably can with such a small vehicle, and you would know that from the ramp steer simulation, this still corresponds to starting at ay=0.4G ending at ay=11G. Good luck with getting something useful out of that as it will likely spin out after just a few seconds.
Thanks guys for helping me out, i debugged my assembly and I got several problems in it like in general the forward direction in Adams car is -ve X direction but i had +ve X as my forward which kind of problem and other with my Damper Hooke joint in which the orientation was bad. But after solving those i still same, which is because of m power train subsystem which had not been included, even i try to include the acarshared power train in it, its having some problem. Now, i trying to build my powertrain subsystem to avoid those. Maybe on another i may come with new problems in powertrain subsystem, but i hope you guys will help me out.
