I couldn't find any example without .adm file for optimization in Adams/Insight Ascii. What I need is to use Adams Car and Adams Insight Ascii to optimize damper (.dpr extension) values.
It is not possible today to do a DOE study on the individual values of the spline that constitutes a damper curve directly.
But what you can do today is scaling of the values (all together) or you could prepare all the different property files that you wish to evaluate and add them to the damper. After this you promote the property file index in Adams Insight and it will switch between the property file for each value.
You can also use for example Adams Explore to do somewhat easier change the curve values directly, but that would require manual updates after each run and manual execution.
If this is not enough then please contact Adams Support to open an enhancement request for new capability at:
Thank you for your response. I was already dealing with different property file configurations, but the idea of Adams Explore will be at the back of my mind.
