I was trying to do a cosimulation in Simulink. I have created a FE-Element object in ADAMS but I get an error message while simulating in Simulink. It says the generated S-Function has an error. I did the same as with other cosimulations that are working.
Is it possible that Cosimulation is not supported for FE-Elements?
Unfortunately I don't think there is a *current* solution to have the FE_PART working with co-simulation! I have logged an enhancement report on this topic ('Make FE_PART work with discrete co-sim') for the future.
I think your best bet currently is to use the discrete flex link in a *commercial* version of Adams.. wish I had better news, good luck,
